The Gag Rule

Salvete,

Now that SVR has been around long enough to feel secure in its own identity, is there any need to retain the technical "gag rule" that does not allow us to write "NovaRoma" with a space? Let's get rid of it.

Anybody opposed?

Valete,

Tergestus

Salvete Mari et omnes,

Let's make it official, proposal II wins the poll and will be incorporated as the new collegial structure.

Proposal II consisted of: Collegia Historicum; Artium; Religionem et Philosophicum; Linguarum Antiquarum; and Vita Quotidiana.

Salvete,

Some sodales (including myself until very recently) may not know that there is a Wiki Classical Dictionary which can be found at

In keeping with the Cromwellian spirit of the new Regulae, maybe we could call the new board simply "Officers' Board", although I like "Officers' Tent" better.

Alright, let's go with "persevere and go forward". Am I correct in saying that the first person plural present subjunctive of persevere is perseveamus? And what verb should I use for "go forward"?

Attice,

Please set up a poll for Cleopatra as well, with her assent. We could use another officer since we three men (Marius, Piscinus, egoque) are all relatively advanced in years and could fall ill or suffer some other distraction (throwing salt over the shoulder).
