Salve mi Piscine,

Many thanks!

**Curio rushes to find his tattered copy of Tacitus' writings.**

Bene vale,

The original Crimean war?????

Salvete,

I recently read that Claudius had conducted a campaign in the Crimea, which was a bolt out of the blue for me. The book I read had no more info than this, so can anyone enlighten me as to this faraway campaign?

Bene valete,
Marcus Scribonius Curio Britannicus.

**From the audience, Curio metaphorically kicks himself. He reminds himself not to refute any other theories, since it seems everyone thinks he is in fact proposing those theories, when he is actually trying to refute them**.

Salve,

Actually mi Piscine, it was a spoof theory to prove that the people of Britannia were the most fearsome of Roma's foes. But then, a poker-face always was my speciality. ;-)

Bene vale,
Marcus Scribonius Curio Britannicus.

Salve,

True, we can roleplay successfully. I meant that it makes roleplaying difficult for you. :-D

Salve,

Scorpio from the depths? That's great! I remember my brother's interest in Latin was inspired by a dream in which he heard the word "Profundis" - he had no idea what it meant. Since then, Profundis has been a special word for him, hehe.

Bene vale,
Marcus Scribonius Curio Britannicus.
