Salve Mari,

That's okay with me. I'm less at home in the ancient Italic roads than you are ;).

I'd speed up our travelling tempo a bit. Perhaps we could now spend the night under the starry skies? Also, I wonder where Gaius Equitius went (in real life, that is)?

Salve Attice,

DH Lawrence writing about Etruscans? That should be interesting. I might borrow it from you sometime.

Salve Britannice,

I recently heard the reason they stopped making Minervas was because they didn't break down and as such, not enough new ones were sold 8).

Salvete Menci et Cleopatra,

It was my understanding that Augustulus later grew up in a monastery on an allowance of Odoacer? Where does the Britannia myth come from?

Salve Cleopatra,

Probably because Caracalla had his own brother killed. I also believe he smothered an uprising in Egypt (?) quite brutally, but I'm not sure of the facts.

Salve Attice,

As a general source of information, the Wikipedia (www.wikipedia.org) is a great place. Another good thing is that it exists in many languages apart from English. There's even a Latin translation project, but I'm not sure if it's any good.

Optime vale,

Salve Attice,

It depends on what gender errors. If a word simply got another gender (à la dies), that's something different than making a wrong accord with a word of another gender...
