The issue has come up on this forum recently...

I am proud to announce that the first SVR newsletter (in fact, it will be more of a magazine - 13 page already and not all is filled yet ) will be available on July 1st.

But some of the sections still need some filling:

* I would like to ask all rectores to give me some news/information about their own collegium. This can be planned projects, issues of importance for the collegium members, etc. A few lines is enough, you don't need to fill whole pages

* We also have a trivia section, where anything is welcome. Searching for a Roman costume? A new important exposition coming up? A spectacular archaeological discovery? Everything is welcome, as long as it can be of interest for the SVR members.

* The magazine will also contain some essays - in fact I need two more essays. If anyone has something ready, please send it to me. It doesn't have to be very long (max. 3 pages)

I really hope the magazine will be a success!

The first issue of our Societas Via Romana magazine is ready!!

I have sent the pdf-file to our aedilis Draco and he has told me it will be available through the website as soon as possible.

However, those who wish can receive the magazine through email!
If you would like to receive the magazine by email, let me know with a PM on this forum, or an email at pudionmus@yahoo.com

IMPORTANT: the file is about 1mb large, so please give me a suitable email address that can have such large files (for example, it won't work with Hotmail, they don't accept such big files).

Just one other remark: the pdf-file has to be read in Acrobat 4.0 or higher!
