Here's a link from Explorator (the Yahoo newsletter by David Meadows) about this incredible book and the restoration/detection/detective work going on with it. Just amazing. Preserved as a book of Christian prayer and so on for a thousand years, technology is now revealing the hidden, "erased" orignal text, the writings of Archimedes.
