I did the test and my results were interesting:
1) Diocletianus
2) Galba
3) Marcus aurelius
4) Titus
5) Claudius
Maybe we should do a test about famous Greeks? Its just a thought.

I think I can live with this...
However, Vespasianus isn't really one of my favorites...

Maybe you can check on these five emperors in the nice essay Draco and I wrote on the emperors, it's in the Collegium Historicum...

Dead son, dead shmon. Assuming we're talking about the same Constantinus, then he was politically clever, if a tad ruthless, courageous with his conversion to Christianity, and his building programme was also impressive.

* chuckles * I love these things. I'm not surprised they bring people into the Societas; would the OP ever think of anything this fun?? Anyway, here are my top 5:
#1: Domitianus
#2: Hadrianus
#3: Marcus Aurelius
#4: Galba
#5: Augustus
I guess that's for registering strongly as moody, asocial yet culturally-inclined. Other Caesars I respect ended up in the following spots:
Nerva: #7
Traianus: #9
Septimius Severus: #15
Vespasianus (my favorite): #19
Aurelianus: #25
...which means I am least like Aurelianus out of any Emperor on the list. Doesn't lessen my admiration of him, though.
Now wasn't that fun?? >({|:-D

Well mi Mari, the OP would probably not think of it simply because they couldn't come up with 24 questions. *Very* evil chuckles. Perhaps we could also make a small, private OP selector. Hee hee.
I'm not sure if the selector will attract a massive amount of people because I noticed yesterday that there already *is* such a selector out there.
Piscine, Heliogabalus was my #25 as well. So much for *my* youth then
. I could indeed make a poet and artist selector too, yes. It's now on my "to do" list next to the Greek selector.

Well, Galba may have been abruptly killed, but he'd had a long and fulfilling life prior to becoming emperor. So it just means that, when you become emperor, you won't have a long life expectancy.
Draco, an OP selector. Hmm... an interesting idea. I assume that I'll be in it, yes? No doubt I'll be my own 115th selection, hehe. It would have to be very private, so that none of us who are also in OP who have no sense of humour who aren't offended. If you need any help, I'll help you construct it, if you contact me privately.

Of your top four:
Augustus was the man who created the empire, bringing peace where before there had only been chaos and civil war. However, he was ruthless, calculating, and by most accounts brought on the last civil war himself.
Galba was a general with a distinguished career, and was the first emperor after Vespasian in the year of the four emperors, in which everyone with a claim to the throne, and most who didn't, attempted to either become emperor themselves or support one of those who did. Galba didn't last long, however.
Marcus Aurelius was the famous Philosopher King. He wrote the still-popular Meditations, while defending Rome's northern frontiers against the Germanic tribes. To many people, he ranks among Rome's most talented emperors.
Nerva was an old man who, I believe, took the throne in 96 AD. He was an interrim emperor after the Flavian dynasty, and some believe that he would have made a much greater impact had he not died two years into his reign.
I know only a little of most of the others, so for more info you'll have to wait until one of our more accomplished historians answers this question.

do like Augustus, no doubt about that, but I didn't think I'd get him on my number 1. My favorite has always been Marcus Aurelius, but for some reason I had him on 20th. And Constanius, although he gave my hometown his name, is definitely not one that I really like, neither for his personality, nor for his politics.
Oh well, at least Vespasian had done some city improvements, that I can appreciate, I can see myself building new temples and baths and all that

What about the other emperors that I got and don't have much clue with. You have a thread that discusses the emperors somewhere if I'm not mistaken, but I can't locate it.
