Salvete
For a history project for school we need to make a essay about a foreign, third world country. I chose Tunisia. I need some information on Tunisia plus pictures. I have alot if info gathered from the Tunisia.gov but it is one side of it. I need the other side of Tunisia that doesn't show up. I will look for books in the local library on Tunisia but any help is appreciate it.

Salve Sokare,

Why don't you check out Locatus' travel report about Tunisia (which has pictures too)? I believe his report contains quite useful information. The trouble with some north African sites (esp. Libya) is the unwillingness of the government to let foreigners do excavations, although Tunisia is known to be rather open-minded and progressive.

salve sokare,

you can contact me. I've stayed with some people over there for more than four weeks. I have seen the commercial and the traditional Tunisia. I have a lot of pictures too.

See you shortly
