Salvete!

Tomorrow and Sunday, P. Dionysius Mus, Q. Pomponius Atticus and myself will be representing SVR at the Roman Weekend in Vioviracum. All Belgae or passers-by (a lost American in Europe, for example ;)) are welcome to pay us a visit and bring lots of friends!

Valete bene,
Draco

Salvete Romani,

the Roman weekend at Vioviracum ended today, so you can expect a full report about it soon. It will be published in the second edition of the SVR e-zine and the pictures should follow shortly afterwards!

Valete,

Salvete Romani,

I've got some bad news about the pictures I took at Vioviracum. Of the 24 I took only 4 of them actually picture something. :(

The biggest problems were:

- too dark
- cheap camera
- finger in front of the lens (oops  )

However the organizer promised to send us some pictures he took himself. So there's still hope!

Valete!

Salve

Before your brother chops off all your fingers in a frenzy, allow me the following prophetic words... Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone. He should have bought you a better camera

Wait and see what pics the organiser sends you, I guess.

Salvete Romani,

Oh no! It seems that my dear brother has made a mistake while writing the ancient Roman name for Wervik. It is actually Viroviacum not Vioviracum! Tsk, and he calls himself the Latin Inquisition

* Mencius marches in, sees this and with indignance, he bellows *

The Latin Inquisitor should be impeaced for this!

But then again, errare humanum est, so the man can carry on with his duties...

Vale bene
