Praetorian Guard during the Reign of Augustus-Nero

I am hoping someone who is involved with Military history can help me understand what a true Praetorian Guard uniform may have looked? What was the clothing like, and what would have differed from a regular army uniform?

What do we get out of the reliefs that were found with praetorian guards on them? Did they wear a different uniform if they were close to the princeps on the Palatine?

Thanks-

Joe Geranio

No information on costumes as far as I can tell but still an essential read:

Late to the question, but here is a great source of clothing and equipment worn by the Praetoriuns over the years
