What's the Cornelian versus Dionysian empire? I took it that this was the Dionysian empire?

Salve!

The Dionysian Empire is SVR. If you look at the past and present, you'll see that for some reason, gens Dionysia has been disproportionally represented in SVR's administration. Heck, the current two consules are both Dionysii :).

The Cornelian Empire is a relic from another time :).

Draco

Na, the closest I've seen was at the OP...where, once I'd been appointed a "military tribune" (reenactor liaison and recruiting officer), it became very plain that you really weren't supposed to join the OP unless you were a Roman Pagan.

Yes. And me a Pelagian Christian.

The "leadership" wanted me to tell a whole Legion in Arizona, 25 strong, that they had to convert en masse before submitting their applications. I could not. Negotiations broke down. I quit.

Maybe a Cornelian requirement is next for that Internet micronation, I dunno. I've never met with an organization so...suicidal. I'll never say so on my Web site, but I just wish they would fall on their swords and get it over with already...Hrrr.

Salve,

Well if I can't start a Cornelian Empire I'll change my name to my new OP
Gens. I recently founded my own Gens there. The Servilian Empire sounds better!

Somehow the "Pomponian Empire" doesn't sound too impressive, does it ?

Salvete amici,

I have no Empire, and need none. Only find some mountain fastness to name after me, preferably in my Spanish homeland, high and rugged and stocked with animals who will never need to worry about being hauled off to the ludi. It is there, and in my travels, that the seminars of the Schola Mariana will take place, with courses including stealth and wisdom and sitting very, very still for a very long time. Anyone is welcome to attend, provided they can find the place and are all done with fighting...!

Taking registrations beginning the Ides of December,

I wonder how the televangelist would respond to the argument that the EU doesn't even have an army.

Ave Caesar, let us render unto him lavish sacrifices! >({|:-)

in public with in full sight of evangelical Christians, I want them to panic! hehehe...

could you imagine that? A bunch of people wearing togas chanting hail Caesar and feasting in front of an evangelical church, they would start freaking out!

by the way, I don't think its fair to single out Bush for criticism, in America we certainly aren't lacking in ineffective politicians.

hey how has the evangelical community reacted to Nova roma? I think pat Roberts would have a stroke if he knew about a micro national pagan revival, (here's hoping)
