Ciudades de Roma

Salve Cives!

Valete
Alonius

Salve!

I will answer you in English, simply because I can't write any Spanish...

First of all, welcome in the Societas Via Romana!

Concerning Roman construction and housebuilding, there is one major primary source to look into: "De Architectura" by Vitruvius Pollio. The complete Latin text is available at the Latin Library.

An English translation is available at the Lacus Curtius website. Private houses are dealt with in chapter 6.

I am not exactly a specialist on the subject, but this text will probably be a good introduction to whatever you want to know about Roman architecture.

I hope this may be useful to you!

Salve Aloni,

Vale!
