Book Opinion?

Postby Concordia on Fri Jun 10, 2005 4:13 pm

Hi everyone!
Does anyone have an opinion on "The Cult of Silvanus: A Study in Roman Folk Religion," by Peter F. Dorcey? It is unavailable through my local library system, and carries a hefty price tag, so I was hoping to get some opinions on it before beginning to badger my husband to buy it for his dear, devoted wife. ;-)

Hi Tiberius!
Thanks for the reply. I am happy to hear that there are reviews of this book available...I haven't had the best luck finding any online. I would appreciate it very much if you could email me a copy of the review you have.
